Here is a complete set of the Raggedy Ann & Andy Railroad Train Puzzle in 3-D. It is my version of this great set of 6 puzzles turned into a miniature pull toy. From the very first time I saw these puzzles I loved them. They depict the Raggedy characters so well, I just had to try and turn them into 3-D! This train was "a long time coming" and a real challenge to do, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
The train consists of 6 individual cars. Each car is carrying lots of the storybook characters that are Raggedy Ann & Andy's friends, like Little Brown Bear, Uncle Clem, Beloved Belindy, Camel, Horse, Cleety the Clown, Percy the Policeman, lots of elves and many, many more. Guess who is the engineer? None other than Cleety the Clown himself!
They are all out for a ride over the countryside enjoying each others company, some of course, more than others, (note the car where they are all tired and snoozing-away) :) but most of them are engaged in all sorts of activities.
I especially love how Beloved Belindy is busy flipping pancakes in her "very own diner" while some of her friends are already eating pancakes or waiting to be served.
Ann is serving up some ice cream sodas & drinks while one of the elves is handing them out to their friends who are seated at the tables underneath the very colorful umbrellas.
On the last car, the caboose, at the very back you will find a "tiny little sprite" of a fellow bringing up the end of the train as he is watching through his telescope to see what interesting things he can pick out of the scenery as they ride along.
What a fun trip it must be for Raggedy Ann & Andy to be together with all their friends on this beautiful sunny day!
The cars are made to be joined together with "hitches and loops" to form one long train that is approx. 40" long and can be put on display in many ways. It is neat to put all the cars in a row on one long shelf but also very adorable to make the train going around all sorts of bends. Use your imagination for your display!
It is very cute when using one of your dolls on a doll stand holding the string like it is pulling the train along.
The cars are approx. 6 1/4" long x 2" high. Wheels do not move - for display purposes only.
Each engine of every set is signed, dated & numbered on the bottom of the base.
Also each of the cars are numbered 1-6 (again on the bottom) so you will know the order it is meant to be displayed.
